How do I start shopping for / purchasing products?
There are several ways to begin, but we encourage customers with a user name and password to begin by logging in using the "Sign In" link at the top right corner of the page. There are also alternative log in methods as well. You can search our products using the "Products" menu at the top of the page and navigate your way to the category of your choice. In addition, you can search by keyword or part number at the top of the page.
Do I need to log in before I order?
You can log in prior to ordering if you prefer to see your account specific pricing and company information as you add items to your cart and proceed to the checkout screen. You do have the option of logging in after you've added items to your cart and any account specific pricing and company information will be validated before you proceed to a final checkout screen. SPI does also offer retail shopping for anyone who would like to visit our site. We recommend that if you are a current SPI account customer that you utilize your log in and password options.
How do I open an account?
SPI offers open terms to businesses upon an approved credit application. Please fill out the credit application found under the Resources tab. Our standard terms are 1% 10, Net 30 days from date of invoice. We do not extend terms to individuals, but we invite you to purchase online with a credit card.
Can I order even if I don't want to set up an account?
Yes, we welcome you to order with spisafety.com with a valid credit card.
Do you have a minimum order?
There is no minimum order.
If I place an order today will it ship today?
All stocking items are shipped the same business day up to 5:00 PM EST from our Lakeland, FL distribution center, 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM EST for our Charlotte, NC distribution center and 4:15 PM to 4:30 PM CST for our Memphis, TN distribution center.
What are Favorites(Shopping Lists and Wish Lists)?
A Shopping List is a quick to use order form that you can build and maintain the items that you purchase the most. Simply fill in the quantity next to each item and they will be automatically added to your shopping cart. You can easily maintenance the contents of your Shopping Lists by adding and deleting items as you navigate around spisafety.com. You may create as many shopping lists as you like. A Wish List is a separate list that you can utilize as a tool to go back to items you might like to purchase in the future.
How do I review my shopping cart?
Your cart item line count and subtotal will appear in the bottom left hand side of your screen. In addition you may go into your shopping cart for an item review by clicking the ?cart? button in the top right hand side of the window. This will allow you to modify, change and delete items currently within your cart or to proceed to checkout.
What are your terms and conditions?
Terms are 1% 10, Net 30 days from date of invoice. MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express accepted. C.O.D. PAYMENTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Accounts with balances due beyond terms of invoice are subject to credit hold. A 1.5% per month service charge will be applied after payment date. Prices are subject to change without written notice. Prices may change in the event of a rare printing error or unforeseen change in market conditions. Orders are shipped FOB Lakeland, FL, Charlotte, NC, Memphis, TN or factory at the discretion of Safety Products, Inc. Orders for in-stock merchandise are shipped the same day or within 24 hours of receipt. Shipping charges are prepaid and added to the invoice. Shipments requiring special handling, packaging, and additional shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
What is your return policy?
At Safety Products, Inc. we stand behind the quality and conditions of our products 100%! We want you to be completely satisfied with your order, or we'll take it back for any reason. Our guarantee means no hassles, and that's a promise to you! Three simples steps for a guaranteed hassle-free return to SPI. Step 1: Call our customer service department and request the return. Your customer service representative will process your request of exchange or refund. Step 2: Your customer service representative will email a return authorization number and form, outlining the conditions of the return. Items must be returned in re-sellable condition. Return of items not stocked and ordered as needed by SPI for the customer, are subject to manufacture return policies and possible restock fee’s. Step 3: Enclose the return authorization form with your return and send it back to SPI.
What are my payment options?
With an approved account, SPI's company standard terms are 1% 10, net 20 days from date of invoice. At any time you may over-ride these terms with the use of a credit card that is billed prior to product shipment. SPI accepts the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
How do I contact SPI?
Under the Contact Us link you will find the phone and fax numbers to every SPI department and locations as well as email addresses. If you need to locate a Customer Service or Field Sales Representative at SPI please look under the Support link and find your way to the email of the person you are trying to reach.
How can I order embroidered product?
Embroidered shirts, bags, towels, hats, etc... can be custom ordered by calling an SPI Customer Service or Field Sales Representative. We have a vast selection of products to choose from and we can provide any type of embroidered service you want. You may request a product selection guide under the Resources tab.
Where can I find the manufacturer's information?
Most all of the manufacturer's that SPI distributes products from can be found on our Line Card under the Resources tab. Displayed in alphabetical order are the names of the companies and the links to their sites. Those manufacturers that SPI has a special relationship with are classified at the top of the line card signifying them as Safety Marketing Group vendors.
Where can I find regulatory information?
Federal organizations and safety associations can be found under the Resources tab. Choose Safety Links to be taken to a listing of these different groups. Visit their sites for answers to the regulatory information you are seeking.
Do you have representatives that can visit my location?
Yes, SPI has extensive Field Sales representation in the Southeast United States. Such vast coverage enables our representatives to work closely with our customers to control costs and improve safety environments. Our professional sales team is trained to address customers' needs such as: product demonstrations, hazard assessments, equipment requirements, product recommendations, employee training, product performance analysis, on-site facility surveys and more.
