As we continue to navigate the daily changes of the Coronavirus, and the impact to our industry, please know that personal safety is always at the center of our decisions.

Like many other companies, we are making adjustments to best accommodate all of our customers needs. Unfortunately, we now have a “no-backorder practice” in effect on items that have reached a peak of demand. Those are items related to disposable respirators, gloves and clothing. In addition, all hand cleaning and sanitizing products and eye protection goggles. This practice has been created so that we can respectfully control our inventory and business operations. Product disruptions will certainly diminish, and at that time, we will be able to release this practice.

This is an unprecedented time for all of us and we appreciate your continued support. Together we will succeed, and thank you for joining our vision of working together to make America safe!

About Us
For over 48 years, SPI has been committed to helping companies create safe work environments. We provide quality safety products and services that not only decrease employee injuries, but also reduce workers' compensation expenses, insurance costs, medical bills, and lost time.

The foundation for which Safety Products Inc was built was based upon our early beginnings as RamWil Industrial Glove Supply in 1968. The intent of RamWil was to import and distribute work gloves of all styles and materials. In April of 1984 RamWil was re-organized and developed to become Safety Products Inc, a well-rounded and more diverse company in the field of occupational safety and health.

After this re-organization took place, SPI primarily served its niche market of the Central Florida phosphate and mining industry. Much of this business was located in the Polk County area. In the late 1980s, SPI diversified into other geographical areas of the state, such as Tampa, Orlando and Miami. In 1997, SPI opened its second location in Charlotte, North Carolina therefore positioning itself as a regional supplier to the Southeast. More recently in 2012, SPI opened its third location in Memphis, Tennessee creating a solid distribution channel throughout the southeast. Today, SPI is the largest independent safety equipment and work zone traffic equipment manufacturer distributor in the Southeast United States with 20 Field Sales Representatives.

SPI is proud to let you know that we provide a safety partnership with all of the companies we do business with. In this partnership we furnish the safety and work zone traffic equipment you need to keep your employees safe, but we also bring service and support to the products we sell. We have field representatives that come directly to your job locations to provide safety expertise and all of our products are backed up with quality and value. We offer E-business solutions so that you can order online, visit your account, and receive electronic invoicing.
